Seorang petani memetik daun tembakau hijau di desa Jejem, Aceh Tengah, provinsi Aceh, Jumat, 14/01, 2022. Tembakau tersebut selanjutnya akan dirajang dan dijemur sebelum dijual dengan harga yang sangat bervariasi, mulai dari Rp 100.000 hingga Rp. 200.000 per kilogram, baik di pasar tradisional maupun pasar online. Petani tembakau kerap mengeluhkan tidak adanya perlindungan kepada mereka berupa standarisasi harga, hingga ada kalanya mereka terpaksa menjual di bawah Rp. 100.000 per kilogram, yang sangat merugikan petani.
